Go for the Goals

Do you hope and wish to get the things you want out of life? Do you ask the heavens to fulfill your wildest dreams when you pray or meditate?

What if I told you there was a way, besides prayer, to get what you really wanted? Would you do what it takes to achieve it?

Now, what if I told you it was as simple as setting clear goals and consistently striving to reach them?

Goal setting is the number one activity proven to help people accomplish what they want.

Having a clear vision of what you’d like to accomplish aids in achieving your goals. It’s like providing your brain an HD picture or video of your intentions. Dreams manifest reality.

Your goals could include what you’d like to complete during a given day or something you would like to accomplish by next year.

Setting the goal is yours, but it’s imperative that you have at least a few short-term, mid-term and long-term goals. This programs your brain to operate in a manner that is congruent with what you want.

I suggest having a goal sheet. It can be written or typed, and it should include your goals for all three time periods.

I have a goal sheet on a Word document, and it is sectioned into short, mid and long-term. It includes my goals for pitching and baseball but also consists of my plans for mental/physical health, my business and constructive relationships with family and friends.

After creating the goal sheet, the key is to review every single day. It only takes a few minutes to jumpstart your day.

This can be done in the morning, at night before bed or any time throughout the day. The more you reference your goals, the clearer those images will be installed in your brain.

Create some goals, and don’t be afraid to fail! We won’t always accomplish every single goal, but persistence in the journey is what life is all about.

As long as you have some goals that you consistently reference, you’re doing yourself a service.

Remember, you need to provide your brain with concrete ideas to allow it to function the way you want. Your subconscious is aware of your goals and will operate accordingly. Feed your brain with goals, big and small!

Looking inward is the key to unlocking your destiny. Supply your brain with clear intentions, work hard and let the universe take care of the rest.

Set concrete goals, truly believe you can accomplish them, and you’ll be amazed at the results!

Since you already hold the master key to your wildest dreams, you can accomplish ANYTHING that you really want.
