Billy Felo Bio

2019 introduced a new opportunity for Billy, as he had responsibilities of player/pitching coach for the Napa Silverados. Along with being a starting pitcher, he also managed the bullpen during games and was a team scout. Billy had 14 starts acquiring 77 strikeouts in 85 innings pitched with an ERA of 5.51. The team finished the season 29-35 but won their first-ever playoff game beating the Vallejo Admirals 6-5 in 12 innings.

In 2018, Billy pitched for the Napa Silverados of the Pacific Association in northern California. Although the Silverados missed the playoffs, Billy had a record of 8-3 in 100.1 IP. 

After being drafted first round by the Sullivan Explorers of the Empire League, Billy started 10 games on the bump in 2017. He finished with a record of 5-2 and was second in the league in strikeouts with 60 Ks in 56 innings.

Billy created Masterful Mechanics Baseball, LLC in 2016 to render a positive impact to youth baseball and softball players in central PA. To this day, he has coached and trained over 235 players and counting.

From Chesapeake, Billy transferred to Kutztown University in 2011 to study English/Professional Writing. During the 2012 season, Billy was a relief pitcher and made appearances in the PSAC and regional playoffs. In his senior year, he was the team’s closing pitcher.

After high school, Billy played at Chesapeake Community College, located on the eastern shore of Maryland. During his sophomore year, Billy started the majority of games at third base and was also the team’s closing pitcher. He was nominated to the Maryland JUCO All-Star Game in his sophomore year.

Billy was born in Harrisburg, Pa. and grew up in the small town of Dauphin. He played baseball at Central Dauphin High School, where he was a three-year starter on the varsity team.
