Hello everyone!
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Baseball training for the spring starts now, and we are excited to work with all of our players at Twin Ponds East.
In addition to private lessons, we are also offering three group-class options beginning in January. Skills classes are for ages 5-13, and the arm development classes are for 11 and up.
Winter Skills Classes will have two sessions. The first session will begin January 5th and run through February 23rd. This 8-week class is Wednesdays from 6-7 PM. The second session will be six weeks beginning January 20th and run every Thursday until February 24th from 6-7 PM.
Skills classes cover all aspects of the game including hitting, throwing, fielding, pitching and catching through station-based learning with a variety of instructors.
Our arm development class will begin January 18th and run for six weeks through February 25th. These classes are every Tuesday and Friday from 6-7 PM.
These classes are imperative to prepare pitchers and position players for the heavy throwing loads that they will endure during the season. Classes will have them game ready once they get on the field for their spring seasons.
The arm development classes will cover arm strength through individualized throwing programs, arm care routines and functional movement exercises. All arm development training will be conducted by me and includes routines and exercises that I have done and still do. This type of training is what has allowed me to play at the professional-independent level for three years.
We recommend registering for the class sessions in their entirety, but you can also walk-in any weeks that you choose. Team discounts are available for classes.
We are partnered with the Mid-State Mavericks travel baseball organization, and all Mavs players receive discounts for lessons and classes. If you’re interested in becoming a Mav, please contact me.
