I hope you are having a great summer filled with baseball and the great outdoors!
Currently, we are offering private lessons with a variety of different instructors including myself. Please contact me to set up a private lesson. This includes softball as well.
We are setting up a FREE Fall baseball/softball clinic at the Paxtonia Athletic Association (PAA). More information will be available on this shortly.
This year, there will be two types of Fall classes. Arm development and skills classes will both begin in November and run through December at Twin Ponds East. In addition, there will be a number of classes available starting in January.
Arm development classes are for ages 12 and up and run twice a week. They will prepare pitchers AND position players for their winter workouts. Our goal is to have players arms and bodies ready for high school workouts which start in January.
Arm development classes will build players’ arm strength with throwing programs, arm care and functional movement exercises. All arm-development training will be prepared by me and include routines and exercises that have been field tested. These arm care routines have helped me to play at the professional-independent level for three seasons.
Skills classes are for ages 5-11 and run once a week. They will cover all aspects of the game including hitting, throwing, fielding, pitching and catching through station-based learning with a variety of instructors.
We are excited to utilize a new training tool this Winter! Rapsodo will be avaialbe for use during lessons. We also plan to run some Rapsodo hitting and pitching leagues this Winter. Rapsodo website: https://rapsodo.com
We are still partnered with the Mid-State Mavericks travel baseball organization, and all Mavs players receive discounts for lessons and classes. The Mavs are still in need of players, especially 10 and 11U, for Spring/Summer 2023. If you’re interested in becoming a Mav, please contact me.
