Hello everyone!
We are excited for another fall/winter of baseball and softball training. There are some exciting changes for MMB coming this season.
We have partnered with the Mid-State Mavericks baseball organization and will be working directly with their teams through mental-training seminars, coach trainings and team practices. For information on trying out for the Mavericks, contact Gavin Osteen at Osteen23@msn.com.
With this partnership, we now have access to the Twin Ponds East training facility. All lessons and group classes will be conducted at Twin Ponds unless otherwise noted.
Fall group classes are starting on 11/30 and will run through 12/21. All Mavs players will receive a discount for classes. Classes are strictly for youth baseball and softball players ages 5-13 and will feature skill work on hitting, fielding, throwing, pitching, catching and mental training.
An assortment of other classes will be available starting in the new year. These include the following: Early Winter Skills (Ages 5-13, 1/5-2/23, Wednesdays, 6-7 PM), Winter Hitting (Ages 10 and up, 1/6-2/24, Thursdays, 6-7 PM), Arm Development (Ages 12 and up, 1/18-2/25) Tuesdays and Fridays, 6-645 PM), Late Winter Skills (Ages 5-13, 3/2-4/6, Wednesdays, 6-7 PM).
Recently, we have been placing a bigger emphasis on the mental side of baseball/softball. These skills are rarely addressed by coaches and parents, and they remain one of the most important parts of the game. We are working to put mental training and mental health at the forefront of our business model.
Mental training seminars for coaches and players will be available this winter. We also provide mental team trainings along with team skill-work. I have been working one-on-one with athletes on mental skills training. Contact me to set up a team, group or personal training.
